I am a life long learner who has built my career on the philosophies of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky we are constantly constructing knowledge through our interaction with people and environment. I believe if we create an environment of reflective practice( implementing activities or management strategies) and reflecting upon our practice daily we will have better outcomes with teachers and children. 19years of experience managing and training teachers 9years of managing middle level managers 15 years of designing and implementing curriculum for children 0-18 years of age 20years of program, staff and leadership development for early childhood professionals 20 years of experience implementing reflective supervision and implementing reflective practice in classrooms. Lead a staff of 50 employees through NAEYC accreditation process in 2009 & re-accreditation process in 2014 with 90% or better in 9 of the 10 of NAEYC program standards Lead staff through 6 Head start and Early Head start federal reviews Extensive knowledge of Early Head start, Head start, State Pre-kindergarten and Illinois Licensing of Daycare Centers and creative curriculum and gold assessment system Experience preparing budgets for Head Start and State Pre-kindergarten,monitoring licensing, NAEYC and Head Start standards Experience working with diverse population of families and children( African American, Hispanic, Special Needs of all kinds) Extensive experience in training and teaching in all area of child development, accreditation standards, school-age and youth development and management practices Specialties: Illinois Early Childhood Senior Leader, 2014 Illinois Director Credential, since 2010 NAEYC ACCREDITATION preparation and implementation Designing and Implementing Dual Language Programs for children birth to 13 Designing and Implementing Service Learning Curriculum For Children 5-18 Designing and Implementing curriculum for children birth to 18 years of age
