About Traci Hudgin

Early in my career, I was in education because I wanted my life’s work to be aligned with creating a more equitable and inclusive society. In higher education, I had the opportunity to participate in a search committee for new software to solve our current problems, increasing our access to real-time data. And just like that, I was spellbound-completely entranced with learning more about this software that allowed data to appear like magic. Great technology would allow me to pivot immediately if something was not working, rather than waiting for the next school year to try something new. The more I learned about the software, the more I wanted to learn to code and to be involved in creating new features that focused on the user experience. This led me to enroll in an immersive software engineering bootcamp to gain the skills necessary to land a job at a mission-driven startup. Technology alone isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but I’d love to be part of a team as passionate as I am about building the solutions.Techstack: Javascript, Express, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, PostgresSQL, Sequelize
