About Traci Maxwell
With over 28 years of teaching experience in the Special Education field I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, a Diploma in Education and further studies receiving my Specialist in Special Education specializing in Learning Disabilities, Teaching the Trainable Retarded and Behaviour Exceptionalities and I have my Specialist in ELL. I have studied further and I am qualified to teach grades Kindergarten up to grade 10. I have had the opportunity to work in public schools and more recently a private school. As a compassionate, creative and organized individual my visual arts training has allowed me to deliver curriculum to children in a creative manner that makes learning interesting, relevant and fun. By being creative in my approach I am often able to reach children that might not understand learning the typical way.
