About Tracy A Walker

As the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager for Interventional Radiology (IR) and Sedation at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), I lead a team of highly skilled and compassionate pediatric APPs who deliver safe and effective sedation and IR services to children with complex medical conditions. I have a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Leadership and I am dual-certified in Pediatric Primary Care and Acute Care by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). With over 15 years of experience as an APP at CHOP, I have improved patient safety, quality of care, and clinical outcomes in various settings, such as the PICU, PCU, and the Emergency Department. I have also supported the recruitment, retention, and development of APPs, and mentored many aspiring and new APPs. My mission is to leverage my expertise and passion for pediatric sedation and IR to provide excellent care to children and their families, and to empower and inspire my colleagues to achieve their professional goals.
