I am the Human Resources Manager at Compotech Inc, a premier defense technology company focusing on transforming the US military’s capabilities through innovative hardware and software solutions. Compotech saves lives by developing cutting-edge products & technology solutions to protect American soldiers. Here at Compotech we are building a high-tech defense industrial base in Maine as a leading defense manufacturing and technology company. Prior to my time at Compotech I was the HR Manager at Puritan Medical Products located in Pittsfield Maine. Puritan Medical Products is a world leading manufacturer of the COVID-19 Swabs used in COVID-19 test kits. Before Puritan Medical Products I was a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the National Healthcare Associates which is a New England based service provider. I had the opportunity to service 8 locations throughout Maine as well as homes in New York and Connecticut while providing talent solutions and Human Resource guidance. Prior to National Healthcare Associates, I held the position of Human Resource Generalist with the Charlotte White Center/ Penquis for a period of 4.5 years. I was responsible for Talent Acquisition, Advertising, New Employee Orientation, Benefits Administration, Teaching: Defensive Driving, Safety, Safe Lifts and Transfers, and Hazardous Communications. As well as providing leadership to all employees. For two years I was an onsite client supervisor for Adecco USA. I effectively managed two on-site operations, overseeing more than 400+ employees in their daily operations. I was responsible for everything from interviewing, hiring, disciplines, to payroll and production management. Prior to Adecco USA, I worked for Vigilant Woodworks where I obtained seven years of progressive experience managing production, shipping and receiving, quality control, safety, and cost control. I am visionary leader with verifiable strengths in improving processes and work procedures in support of continuous improvement programs. I Possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams to identify and remedy issues relating to personnel helping to ensure the success of employees. As the Human Resources Manager, I strive to ensure a workplace with strong Ethics and Morale where all employees feel appreciated and motivated to come to work each day!
