About Tracy Byrd

Nearly 20 years ago, the non-profit world captured my heart when I joined the staff of a global mission organization. I love connecting people with a cause they feel passionate about and seeing them impact the world through their generosity. I currently manage an extensive portfolio of foundations and trusts for Alpha globally, contributing to $5M+ in revenue annually. In this role, I share the global vision of Alpha, cultivate and steward donor relationships, collaborate with leaders and teams worldwide, manage pipelines, write and design proposals, and report on impact. I have skills in fundraising, including storytelling, grant writing, donor development, direct marketing, stewardship, strategic planning, and events. While those skills are necessary, I believe listening, authenticity, empathy, and hospitality are just as important in development work. I am creative, reliable, organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and tenacious. I love working with a team towards a common goal and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and valued. I’m also known to initiate fun (because having fun together is a team value, too)! I am a Myers-Briggs ISFJ - introverted, sensing, feeling, judging; reserved, warm-hearted, and responsible, and a 9 on the Enneagram - the “Peacemaker” - balanced, accepting, harmonious; often the “glue” that holds the team together.
