About Tracy Gimpel

I have over 27 plus years of experience in the electrical/mechanical manufacturing industry that I can bring to your company. I have more than 13 years of experience as production supervisor managing up to 60 employees on both first and second shifts. My knowledge covers Electrical-mechanical assembly, Problem Solving, Resource Allocation, ESD, Team Building/Training, Production Control, MRP Systems, and Purchasing/Procurement. I have a very strong background in Supervisor/Leadership role of overseeing the manufacturing operation, working extensively with Manufacturing/Project Engineering to develop and implement new processes. I developed KPI Strategies, worked on Kaizen teams, and implemented Lean concepts like 5S, Poke Yoke, continuous single piece flow, and visual management. I am experienced in training and implementing Lean Manufacturing to the production department, at my previous employer, I was an active member on the Lean committee, responsible for conducting monthly 5S audits, and contributing to Kaizen events, which helped the company win the State of California’s, Crystal Award for Outstanding Lean Achievement. Along with my leadership expertise, I have direct experience in authoring and training ISO 9001, QS TS 16949 documents for certification and compliance.
