About Tracy Green

Tracy Green is an alumnus of Liberty University where she earned a master's degree in Life Coaching and a bachelor's degree in psychology. Additionally, Tracy is a Mental health advocate, Public speaker and Writer who compellingly shares the tools of her formal and informal education/experiences to facilitate wellness as she works with individuals, family members, and professionals. Tracy is a passionate advocate for individuals that live with a mental health diagnosis, teen mothers, and victims of sexual and domestic violence. She openly shares her journey of recovery from childhood and adolescent trauma to being a business owner, wife, mother, and grandmother for nearly 40 years now. Tracy's advocacy work keeps her busy with various organizations around the state of Texas and has earned her multiple awards for this work. She has been recognized for her excellence in service by both NAMI Texas and NAMI North Texas. She is also the recipient of the Hogg Foundation New Voices Writers Showcase Award in 2022 for her captivating autobiographical story of encountering trauma at a young age. Tracy is also the author of the poem "Night Life" and the booklet "DID in a nutshell: Pun intended!" Tracy believes that none of her accomplishments this far and moving forward would have been possible without her relationship with the Lord God Almighty through Jesus Christ! Her second highest praise goes to Jerome, her husband and best friend for 40 years this November. Jerome and Tracy share two adult children and their mates, as well as four beautiful grandchildren! Tracy says,"I believe in community. I am a product of a tremendous tribe of supporters that help feed my soul and ignite my passions for excellence in all that I do!"
