About Tracy Jimenez

I am a Clinical Dietitian with a background in culinary arts. I currently work as a Clinical Dietitian II at City of Hope Cancer Center in Duarte, California. I specialize in oncology nutrition and help patients find practical nutrition solutions for weight management and weight loss during and after cancer treatment. I have experience in all areas of oncology nutrition including inpatient and outpatient care, bone marrow transplant, medical oncology, surgery, ICU and pediatrics. I also teach cooking classes focused on disease prevention and weight management at the California Health and Longevity Institute located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake VIllage, California. I have a certification in Culinary Arts from the Santa Barbara City College School of Culinary Arts. I love to cook and share my passion for food with others. I believe that healthy cuisine can also taste great. With a few simple strategies, people can make healthy and delicious food for themselves and their families. I stress the importance of increasing plant foods in the diet while limiting intake of meat and unhealthy fats to prevent chronic disease.
