About Tracy L Weeden

My mission is to advance literacy and academic success for children and adults, regardless of country of origin or zip code. That kind of change is only possible through the application of the science of reading, and remaining attuned to implementation science as it continues to unfold. I have invested my life in creating and building innovative programs, systems, and teams focused on providing enhanced learning opportunities and exceptional outcomes for students. I believe literacy is the human right of the 21st century. There are literacy allies who also believe in this pivotal vision who I serve as an executive consultant and shoulder partner for successful change management. Neuhaus Education Center is a nonprofit I led as President & CEO (and am currently serving as Past President & Ambassador) that is a catalyst to making the vision of literacy success for all a reality for our stakeholders. I have been described as a visionary and a prophet when it comes to why it is mission critical that systems change for people to succeed in a knowledge economy and an AI. Quality of life is directly tied to being literate for life. Digital literacy, health literacy, and financial literacy transform the family tree. Empowered educators improve the world through education. I love and honor educators, and am committed to doing everything I can to empower them to win at their work. Without great educators, no one finds their why and purpose to bring light and life to this world. In my current role as Past President and Ambassador of Neuhaus, I provide executive consultation at the state department and district level to decision makers. I have had the privilege of delivering many keynote addresses to educators and the business community. I also provide leadership and support in the areas of financial management, recruitment and development of staff, fundraising initiatives, initiating and furthering relationships with NEC partners, and guidance of professional and public relations. I have successfully focused on change management for sustainable transformation with a plethora of stakeholders including Boards of Trustees, donors, staff, parents, teachers, educational partners, and students.
