About Tracy McGregor

I’m an experienced operations and program manager with a career spanning higher education, telecommunications, electricity, and local government. Currently, I work as the School Manager for the School of Chemistry at Monash University, where I support strategic planning, operational delivery, and team coordination in a dynamic academic environment. Since joining Monash in 2016, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to initiatives at the Monash Sustainable Development Institute and 360info, working across sustainability, research, education, media and global engagement. My earlier roles in the private and public sectors helped build a strong foundation in service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. I hold an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and have additional qualifications in project management, sustainability, training, and lean management. I enjoy working in collaborative environments and am motivated by opportunities to improve systems, support teams, and deliver meaningful outcomes. Working with the School of Chemistry has been especially rewarding—it's a vibrant and innovative community that makes a real impact through research and education.
