My first step into the world of working with seniors was in 1990 when I became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Since then I have found myself walking down a path of care. Every time I turned the corner, there was a new experience awaiting me-something special I could do to help seniors. That path led me to a lifelong career that so far has included caregiving, administration, activities and marketing. The only job I haven’t done-to everyone’s relief-is cook! Throughout my career, I have been guided by one principal: treat our seniors like I would want my parents and grandparents treated.
