About Tracy Morison

I have 19+ years of experience in research and academia. I work as an Associate Professor at a Massey University, where I am the current Programme Director of the MSc in Critical Health Psychology. My research focuses on sexual and reproductive issues, spanning the areas of feminist, critical, and health psychology. I'm interested in how people's different social identities (e.g, gender, race, class etc.) affect how they can have relationships, make decisions, and act in ways that have to do with sexuality and reproduction. The central aim of my work is to identify structural and systemic issues that need to be addressed to support sexual and reproductive rights and justice. To do so, I use qualitative research methods to highlight the wider social context in which sexual and reproductive relationships, practices, and decisions take place.
