About Tracy Munsil

My vision is to prepare and launch NextGen conservative Christian leaders to advance liberty & truth to transform government, politics and culture. My passion is to walk alongside college students as they seek to hear what God is calling them to do. I am a teacher, exhorter, mentor and builder. I can't hear for them, but I can listen, encourage, and guide Christian leaders as they seek their purpose & calling. My heart is to help prepare, position and launch them to lead lives of Christian influence - in politics, government, or wherever God leads them. Teaching - I completed 10 years teaching at Arizona Christian University in all areas of political science, but specializing in political thought, especially ideas of the American Founding, 20th Century Ideologies, and American Conservative Thought. Another passion is strategic training in biblical worldview and application to contemporary culture. I also was part of an interdisciplinary faculty team in ACU's CORE Christian Liberal Arts curriculum, teaching in our distinctive Humanities sequence. Building - As a member of the ACU faculty in starting in 2011, I created the University's political science major, chaired the collaborative process to create the University's CORE Christian Liberal Arts curriculum, and built a new minor in Economic Liberty & Politics. I'm currently helping to build two new entities at ACU— the Cultural Research Center as its Executive Director and as Publisher at Arizona Christian University Press. I'm most at home building something new - a new course, a new program, a new partnership.Legacy - My husband, Len Munsil, and I raised our family of eight children, anchoring them as best we could in Scripture, in God's love and truth, in the biblical worldview, and in the importance of family. We home-educated for 14 years and along the way, took advantage of the many schooling options in Arizona.
