About Tracy Quillin

As the Associate Director at Humanities Kansas, I lead development and fundraising strategies for the organization. I also serve as the brand manager, overseeing communications strategies that align with our mission to promote humanities in Kansas. With over 20 years of experience in this role, I have successfully rebranded the organization's corporate communications, created strategic communications campaigns, and have overseen website redesign. I have also developed and implemented strategies for all Council social media platforms and established strategic communications including electronic newsletter. In addition to my current role, I have a rich background in museum education and curation. As the Curator of Education at Johnson County Museum, I was accountable for the coordination and management of major exhibition projects, planning and facilitation of special events, and conducting of tours and public programs. I demonstrated leadership throughout supervision of four-person education staff and recruitment and management of volunteers. I was awarded the Kansas Museums Association's award of excellence for hands-on exhibition. I hold a Masters of Historical Administration and Museum Studies from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Art History and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
