About Tracy Roett

I am Electrical Engineering Technologist and Licensed Industrial Electrician who has a diverse background. Through my Sport Psychology degree, representing Barbados on the National Squash team, my time at the YMCA, developing a robust squash program and coaching/managing the Northern Ontario junior squash team, I developed my interpersonal and organizational skills. Those skills have been invaluable to me in my roles as Electrical Manufacturing lead, ISO auditor, and Joint Health and Safety worker representative. I have progressively taken on more responsibility throughout my time with BESTECH/SHYFTinc and have made my way to Electrical Manufacturing Lead. Guiding panel builders on large and small projects, interacting with clients during the building process, maintaining a good relationship with vendors, as well as the day-to-day management of the shop are a few of the key components of my current role. Through my experiences I have gained skills in project management, procurement, quality assurance, troubleshooting, mentoring and maintenance/auditing of an ISO Certification.
