Tracy’s chapter of her nursing career here at UC Davis started in January of Her formal role in management started in 2010. Tracy currently is the nurse practice manager for the UC Davis Internal Medicine Pulmonary Specialty Clinic in Sacramento on J Street. The UC Davis Internal Medicine Pulmonary Specialty Clinic offers asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, interventional pulmonology, bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, post-COVID patients with long term complications as well as general pulmonary specialty care to a diverse patient population. The team of 21 faculty physicians, 15 fellows, 2 nurse practitioners, 6 medical assistants, 2 licensed vocational nurse and 11 registered nurses are dedicated to providing advanced practice, comprehensive and compassionate care. We also have the ancillary support of several licensed respiratory therapists in the many pulmonary subspecialties at this location. Located at 2825 J Street Suite 400 in Sacramento, the Pulmonary Specialty Clinic sees over patients and handles over 2,200 patient calls on a monthly basis. Additionally, at this clinical location, we have the AACVPR certified Pulmonary Rehabilitation program as well as a full-time Pulmonary Function Testing laboratory. The multidisciplinary service lines contribute to our destination of choice for comprehensive pulmonary care.Additionally, Tracy is passionate about supporting leaders, staff development, leading by example and promoting a healthy work environment for the team. Her dedication is evidenced by exceptional staff engagement and patient experience scores. Tracy is an active member of the Relationship Based Culture committee. Tracy is delighted to facilitate one arm of the Relationship Based Culture workshops through UC Davis. As a facilitator for "Leading an Empowered Organization"(LEO) workshops, she is able to support leaders in this complex healthcare environment. Tracy has a practical leadership style that applies the LEO principles within the UC Davis Health environment.
