One of the most seasoned, trusted and highly regarded professionals in her field, Tracy Shaffer has amassed vast experience in celebrity engagement and procurement, talent and influencer relations, celebrity booking and seeding, editorial and television projects, entertainment marketing, publicity, image management, VIP events, brand partnerships, producing photo shoots and video content. With 25+ years combined experience as Entertainment Director for two of the most prestigious women's magazines in the world, and as a prominent publicist at Hollywood's premier PR firm, she has cultivated coveted, longstanding relationships with the industry's top talent and their publicists, agents, managers, as well as PR executives at studios, networks, record labels, and brands. Tracy Shaffer began her career as a leading celebrity publicist, eventually becoming Managing Director of PMK Public Relations, where she managed and mentored a staff of 50. In 2004, Shaffer was named Entertainment Director for Cosmopolitan, serving as the magazine’s Hollywood brand ambassador and sole West Coast editor for eight years. She segued to become Entertainment Director for Marie Claire from 2012-2018, where she continued to spearhead all celebrity cover bookings and industry relations, creating and producing several signature Hollywood franchises for the magazine. During her tenure, Shaffer booked and produced more than 175 covers and countless celebrity features, portolios, branded video content and red carpet events with the world’s top celebrities. She launched Talent Strategies in 2018 working with such clients as The Obama Foundation, TED, Condé Nast Entertainment, Omaze, United Nations’ Girl Up, Matador Content, Cutler Productions, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Shaffer earned her BA in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
