About Tracy Shier

Integrating creativity alongside the ability to implement innovative solutions is my passion. For over a decade, I’ve been working in the public sector to help improve the way we do what they do. My focus was on facilitating business areas to help identify the opportunities in their business processes that could be improved, through a human-centred design practice,(what does the customer want or need) to collaborate and come up with new and innovative best practices. Continuing education is part of that passion of creativity, though my Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Creativity from Queens University that helped me discover new tools and ways to integrate creativity in my everyday work, as well as use these tools strategically to help with change in the business. As well as formal education, including following important trendsetters and how they are working, helps grow my personal toolbox to help others. On a day-to-day basis, I handle building relationships within all of our business areas, from senior leaders to the front-end employees. Included in my responsibilities was the development of tools to aid with both facilitation, collaboration, leadership, requirements gathering and problem-solving, using automation whenever possible.
