I have over 22 years of direct clinical experience working as a medical assistant using EHR systems, and over 13 years working in the healthcare IT field. I Currently work as an Senior Technical Support Consultant at Altera Digital Health where I provide support to clients using Allscripts Touchworks EHR. I assist in all troubleshooting and complex issue support and resolution. Systems: Allscripts/Touchworks Electronic Health Record, Claims Manager, Groupcast/Centricity Patient Management System, HST, ConnectR interface, Rhapsody interface engine, Payspan, Ingenious Med, Experian, Emdeon, Dragon 360 voice recognition software, Visual studio, and Microsoft project, including the implementation and interface build for RCxRules. My past experience includes working in the Electronic Health Record department where my primary focus was on training staff, helping configure and develop the Allscripts Electronic Health Record system, with an emphasis on note building and customization of notes for the providers, documenting and refining clinical workflows, assisting with problem solving, and working with all CSHP stakeholders so that their interests and needs are clarified and considered. I worked directly with physicians and all teammates to help them optimally use all of our clinical and business systems via the help desk, on-call, or during hands-on help desk at one of the several locations. I possess the experience and skills needed to work with providers and users in a clinical and a training role, and have an extensive understanding of how electronic medical records systems and support applications are used in busy diverse clinical settings. I am a very enthusiastic, versatile teammate, and I have excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills.
