About Tracy Warbrick

I would describe myself as a cognitive neuroscientist, however, my work over the years has been multidisciplinary, drawing on my experience and expertise in psychology, sport and exercise science, brain imaging, and research methods. In my current position as Head of Education and Scientific Communication I focus on providing high quality education and learning opportunities for the EEG and neurophysiology research community. Working with research scientists to understand their needs, optimise EEG applications, and facilitate cooperation between academia and industry is also is a high priority for me. Prior to working at Brain Products I spent many years in academic research using brain imaging methods to understand human behaviour, performance, and cognition. My main focus was on multi-modal brain imaging, specifically simultaneous EEG-fMRI. My research topics included investigating the effects of fluctuations in attention on task performance, and investigating top-down modulation of pain perception. I am also interested in teaching and learning and I have a PGCE for Further and Higher Education.
