I am currently employed as an Activities Director for Atlantic Shores Retirement Community. My career began as an intern within the company. I was then promoted to Program Coordinator and continued that role for 4 years. Upon completion of implementation of the program, I was promoted to Activities Director for the skilled nursing unit and then proceeded to take leadership of the activities program for all of healthcare including Assisted Living and Memory Care. I have lead the memory care training for the past 2 years and obtained the highest level of excellence under Gold Status for the Heartfelt Connections program. The program was implemented to better assist staff with understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia. In efforts to grow within an administration position, I returned to school to complete a masters program in Public Administration with a specialty in Healthcare.
