About Trang V.

I decided to leave a corporate sales job after 6 years in order to finally pursue my dreams of working in the film industry. I’ve dreamt of becoming a Cinematographer and Director since I was 15 years old, and decided to make a change in order to chase the one thing that’s always been burning inside of me. I am currently in a media apprenticeship program with Pegasus Media and working as an Assistant Editor for a corporate film production company, S-Films.I have experience working on studio sets and film sets and would like to find more opportunities to work on more projects and connect with other creatives.I am the owner of Trang Vu Productions, which offers photography, videography, and video editing services. Our mission is to be a place “where your soul shines” and allow our services to enhance the vision of yourself and your brand. I am active in my community through art and host monthly open mics through RVC Open Mic since 2017. I enjoy supporting my community and local artists through my services as well as attending local shows and events in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.With my personal art, I am a spoken word artist, writer, and author and have my work featured and published on music albums, poetry books, and more.My dream goal is to work with the multi-faceted artist and creator, Donald Glover on a project.
