As a results-driven leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and government organizations. I am dedicated to advocating for human rights and eliminating racial disparities in healthcare. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing health equity through community engagement, strategic partnerships, and impactful program development. I have strategically developed relationships with providers to enhance healthcare access and promote racial equity initiatives. I am experienced in developing and implementing health equity programs tailored to community needs while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. My background includes managing a $15MM Violence Prevention program and facilitating statewide training sessions on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), significantly increasing public awareness of health disparities. I am a Certified Patient Family Partner with MoMMA’s Voices, leveraging both my professional and personal experiences to drive systemic change in maternal health. I believe in the power of collaboration and community mobilization to create sustainable change. As the Chair of the Somerset Promise Walk for Preeclampsia, I lead innovative fundraising efforts that not only raise critical funds but also promote health equity initiatives within our communities. I am passionate about building diverse, high-performing teams and fostering environments where all individuals can thrive. My goal is to continue driving impact in maternal and child health while advocating for policies that support the wellbeing of all families.
