Florida certified Correctional Officer transitioning from the US Marine Corps Infantry to civilian law enforcement - tour of duty ends July 2014. Highly motivated to leverage five years of achievements during Infantry career to provide dedicated service for a Federal Correctional Institution. Qualifications include a comprehensive field training; and extensive experience in safety patrol, security details, undercover investigations, planning and executing operations as a squad and fire team leader. Serviceability, accountability, safeguarding, and maintenance of over in military equipment in a rapid environment, Management and accountability for up to 12 Marines under my charge, including over weapons and serialized gear, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Organizing Rosters and public-service activities.I am a Marine. I am determined, motivated, and know what I want. I have values, morals, and a family who is my support. I have been trained to handle any situation weather it be under stress, danger, or time sensitive cases. As a Marine, we endure intense and vigorous training. We learn the hard way how to become a true leader. We learn in a fast pace environment and pick up skills fast. With every task, we have a plan of execution, back up plan, and prioritize every situation with one thing on our minds, mission accomplishment and safety. The core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment have been burned into our hearts to adapt and overcome any position or situation. Marines do not fail. I know with my background in Law Enforcement and the skill sets I have been passed down from the Military I will succeed and put forth the up most effort in anything I do.
