Recently accepted a position with Novonix Anode Materials as their Site Operations Manager at the Lookout Valley location. I am thrilled to be apart of a growing industry that could really put Chattanooga on the map for many years to come. Previously involved with all daily operations of successful boiler and industrial hot water system repair and installation business. Reporting directly to the CEO. Responsible for 2 divisions and oversight of 60 full time employees, including direct report managers and supervisors. Major accomplishments include improving outdated processes to increase efficiency, growing and maintaining a positive workplace culture, and three business acquisitions with a focus on incorporating multiple outside operations into one cohesive unit. Managed complex projects valued $3K to over $1M. Collaborates closely with the Safety Manager to ensure workplace credentials and compliance are maintained; familiar with Avetta, ISNetworld, Appruv, and Bravo. At my previous employers I was responsible for all aspects of heavy equipment attachment manufacturing. Supervised and directed a varied workforce in excess of 100 employees, including supervisors and their direct reports. Involved in every aspect of production, from design and material cutting, to assembly, quality control and shipping. Hired key employees and lead staff trainings. Promoted a safe work environment, resulting in 15% decrease in workrelatedinjuries. Empowered to initiate process improvements, enforce directives, and make sound decisions to expedite the manufacturing process; met all company deadlines. Years of on the job experience varying from first level construction laborer for a general contractor to a General Foreman of a locomotive shop. The numerous experiences I've had have given me a plethora of knowledge at my disposal. I am as comfortable in a field setting, as I am, in a corporate office setting. Whether I have tools in my hand or a keyboard, I can effectively perform my duties and accomplish any task put before me.
