About Travis Buchko

I am currently a Marine Corps Recruiter, searching for the next generation of warrior athletes to serve the country at a moments notice. I recently served as a Squad leader, assistant operation chief and stand in Operations Chief for 2nd Battalion 7th Marine Division in Twentynine Palms California where I had the privilege of leading a Squad reinforced on a deployment to Anbar Iraq. Before my time at Twentynine Palms I served as a Tactics Instructor at Officer Candidate School (OCS) where I taught basic level Infantry skills to personnel attempting to become Marine Corps Officers. While at OCS I was able to almost finish my associates in criminal justice with an emphasis in security. I was previously stationed in Camp Pendleton, California for 4 years with Second Battalion First Marines. My military school background includes ISULC (infantry small unit leaders course), AIC (advanced infantry course), non-lethal training, CBRN (chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear) school, as well Sergeants course and Corporals course. Before I joined I worked at McDonald's in Norway, Michigan and also at WTS in Cudahy, Wisconsin. I am proficient in teaching classes and have a strong base in unit leadership and team work.
