With nearly 22 years of experience in the dental industry, Travis Cassano has held a variety of roles, starting at the front desk and advancing to executive leadership. Over the past decade, he has served as Vice President of Implant Operations and Doctor Network Development for two top-ten national Dental Support Organizations. In these roles, Travis led the development and scaling of implant programs that supported nearly 600 implant-trained general dentists nationwide, collectively generating more than $150 million in annual revenue. Under his leadership, these programs facilitated the placement of over high-quality, affordable dental implants each year, providing transformative care to tens of thousands of patients, enhancing doctor retention, and achieving significant savings in lab and procurement costs. Travis excels in building strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including doctors, clinical and operations teams, as well as vendor partners, ensuring seamless integration and consistent messaging across implant initiatives. He has experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including five Regional Implant Managers, a network of CDT’s and Patient Education Consultants, and a small team of traveling Clinical Directors. He is passionate about fostering a culture of clinical excellence, consultative selling, and exceptional patient experience. Travis implements scalable case acceptance and clinical training programs that enhance sales force effectiveness, all while aligning teams around a consumer-centric model. Over the past year, Travis served as Vice President of Implant Dentistry and Doctor Development at Smile Brands Inc, one of the five largest DSOs in the U.S. He led a national dental implant program supporting nearly 400 implant-trained general dentists across 33 states and 600 dental centers. In this role, he was responsible for driving top-line implant revenue and unit growth through strategic initiatives that delivered measurable financial and clinical impact. His efforts focused on stabilizing and expanding the company’s implant dentistry platform through improvements in procurement, education, vendor partnerships, patient financing, and clinical infrastructure. Travis has a deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscape and its impact on key relationships within the dental industry, including insurers, OEMs, DSOs, labs, and private equity. His expertise spans the full spectrum of dental operations, from implant program development to doctor network growth and strategic business operations.
