About Travis Cook

I am a graduate of the UTSW School of Health Professions Doctorate of Physical Therapy program where I have applied my skills and knowledge in sports and rehabilitation to help patients recover from injuries and enhance their performance. I am also a certified EXOS Performance Specialist, which enables me to design and deliver effective and evidence-based training programs for various populations and settings. My passion for physical therapy stems from my own experience as an athlete and a fitness enthusiast, as well as my desire to help others achieve their health and wellness goals. I am also inspired by the desire to improve health literacy in underserved communities in pursuit of eradicating health disparities that exist between different communities. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma, where I gained a solid foundation in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition. I will also be receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center's School of Health Professions where I gained experience working in various settings, improving my ability as a clinician. Furthermore, I have worked as a Health Fitness Specialist at EXOS and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist at Greenhill School, where I gained valuable experience in working with diverse clients, coordinating projects, and leading teams. I am proficient in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership, and I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development.
