About Travis Crum

I hold a Master's degree in Political Science, where I gained experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, technical writing and presentation, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. I also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Associate, where I independently prepared and analyzed qualitative and quantitative datasets, proofread, edited, and prepared research manuscripts for publishing, and taught courses on American and Comparative Politics. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to help deliver high-quality and actionable insights. As a Research Analyst at Chartis Research, I provide various methods of research support across the research team specializing in risk and financial technology market research. I collect and collate information relating to vendors and product offerings for analysis, draft reports and graphics for distribution to our subscriber base, and communicate with fellow researchers, company executives, and clients regarding project status and outcomes. I also lead independent qualitative and quantitative analysis of client survey and financial information, utilizing multiple research methods and software packages.
