About Travis Davis

I have an AAS in Computer Information Systems (Support Option) from Jefferson College in Hillsboro MO. I worked as an IT Support Specialist for Hillsboro Title Company which started as a paid internship and turned into a permanent position which I held for 2 1/2 years until a restructuring lay-off on May 12th 2017. I acquired a Missouri State Title Insurance Producers License during my time at Hillsboro Title Company along with extensive knowledge of how real estate transactions are conducted and recorded and the laws that pertain to it. I recently passed the 1st exam,(JK0-103) for the CompTIA Linux+ certification and will soonsit for the 2nd exam (JK0-104). I would like to secure a position in Information/Network Security, Support or, Administration with an organization that recognizes that the efficient use, assurance, security, analytics & , storage of information & investing in the technologies which are necessary to enable the execution of these tasks may warrant expenditure based on avoiding loss not just a the return on the investment. Alternatively, working with other IT professionals who are not jaded by the practice of the least expenditure possible to maintain the profit margin, would be equally satisfying. I have a home lab in which I enjoy spending as much time as is available to implement real world networking, various aspects of security, data storage, soft & , firmware, updates/advancements & , a multitude of other information systems for research and testing which may be inappropriate to use in a production environment until thoroughly analyzed in as close to a real world environment as possible. While a home lab is an amazing asset for anyone in the information systems and technology field.
