About Travis Fegan

I am a partner at MVA Bennett and I try to bring passion and energy to all my client relationships and have a solution-based approach to my engagements. The answer I propose might not be the one you desire, however it will be one that reflects the right solution for now and the future. I partner with clients, listens to their requirements and enjoy working on strategy to deliver their desired outcomes. I try to be flexible in my approach as no two engagements are the same and they need to be serviced in different ways. I have worked on both sides of the advice table, being an advisor in public practice and having experience as a CFO in a family business where cash was required to support owner needs.' My professional curiosity often leads to working closely with entrepreneurs to realise their goals as founders. Building systems and processes and allowing founders to concentrate on the business in the formative stages is a strength. I have assisted founders going to market to raise capital or exit the business. I am excited by the different phases of advising clients from growing a business and to the challenging exit process for the business owners. Small businesses are part of the family fabric and need to be treated with care and compassion when an exit is being considered. As a young lad I fondly remember trips to the country to visit the family farm, and now I often find myself assisting families on the land around succession and preserving farming legacies through generations. It is important to give back, so I also assist not for profit and takes a financial governance with business know how to support charities deliver their stated mission. In my spare time you will find me with family and friends, enjoying the moment as a new experience. I also spend a lot of time at my son’s sporting activities and assisting where required, I feel grateful that my own Dad taught me how valuable this time is.
