About Travis Gray

I like video production. I mean, really like. Like like. I'll take terrible footage with a helmet mounted GoPro camera and play around with different editing techniques, frame rates, audio filters, or whatever I can throw at it, and experiment to get something useable. And this will be something on my own time. Just because I want to. But then I know later, when there's a real-world issue, I'll know exactly how to handle it. Since entering the world of technical productions, either for theatre, radio, or video, I've always had this attitude, and always made sure I could put on the best show I could. I love planning logistics, solving problems, and finishing off great productions. Knowing the technical side of things well allows me to focus more time on brainstorming ideas and writing effective productions. The most polished look and sound will mean nothing if no one wants to watch it. Engaging an audience to sell a product, idea, or even just a story is what I strive to do well. And then the icing on the cake? It'll look great too.(Cherry on top: I know the social media side of things as well; how to get videos to look best for web, Facebook/Instagram video ads, and YouTube preroll ads)(Caramel dipping sauce: I know theatre video specs as well. I'm still a fan of old fashioned theatrical releases)(I also really like food. I'm surprised I held off that long on those references.)
