The reemergence of the Winnipeg Jets has brought forth a noticeable sense of optimism and pride in the community. With a new stadium for the Blue Bombers the city has awoken and reenergized the sporting environment in Winnipeg. It is clear that this city is truly “fuelled by passion”; this not only drives our residents but also attracts people from other communities who are equally as passionate. The hype is not limited to the Jets or Blue Bombers, but also expands into the symphony, ballet, parks, and other recreational activities our city has to offer. As a citizen of Winnipeg I am proud to be a part of this growth and prosperity the city is experiencing and am eager to be involved in the changes and development that come with it.
