About Travis Hunter

As a trial lawyer with extensive experience in Delaware’s state and federal courts, I specialize in handling large commercial and trade secrets disputes within the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division (CCLD). My practice encompasses a wide range of complex commercial and intellectual property cases, including business contracts, mergers and acquisitions, trade secrets, patent disputes, commercial insurance coverage, and products liability. I have served as trial counsel in some of Delaware’s largest trials, including two of the biggest cases ever filed in the CCLD, and have also represented clients in significant arbitrations with the American Arbitration Association. My dedication and track record for success has earned me a reputation as a subject expert in this area and provided me with the opportunity to publish over a dozen articles about this type of litigation in the past few years. In addition to my litigation practice, I contribute to the legal community through my roles on the Delaware Superior Court’s Rules Committee and the CCLD Rules Committee. I am also an active member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Commercial and Business Litigation and have completed the Federal Trial Practice Seminar sponsored by the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. In 2019, I was honored to be named one of the nation’s top young trial attorneys by Law360. Beyond my professional achievements, I am dedicated to serving my community as a guardian ad litem for Delaware’s Office of the Child Advocate, advocating for the best interests of children in legal proceedings. In my free time I enjoy following college wresting having been a D1 wrestler myself during my time at Davidson.
