About Travis Lee

Graphic design and art has been a passion of mine for years. To pursue this I applied to for the selective graphic design program at Iowa State University. I picked ISU because of its reputation as one of the best graphic design programs. I was accepted and then I graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts for graphic design. Along with all of the design knowledge I gained at ISU I also learned how to create and edit video. Creating video and film is also another passion of mine that I have worked hard to do as a career. My first job in design was at ISU Web Development Services during college. I knew how to create Web sites before I went to college and this was a great job to learn even more about HTML, CSS and Web graphics. It also gave me valuable experience in meeting with clients and assisting them in building their site. This job definitely sharpened my skills for the future. From there I started work for Brokers International, Ltd. as a graphic designer and videographer. The job entails many different forms of design and direct marketing. Anything from magazine ads to Web site design. With this job I took on a second position as a videographer. With this position I created a studio room with cameras, a green screen, microphones, lighting and all. I took on the tasks of filming and editing the videos used on the company’s Web sites. It's been an amazing amount of experience right out of college. I started work at AMZ Financial Services as a graphic designer. I created logos, websites, print materials, motion graphics, you name it. We had since merged with Partners Advantage Insurance Services, LLC. From there we were acquired by Gallagher. With this merger and acquirement happening in quick succession, I have found that I can grow my skills and knowledge. NOW I own my own business called Travos Media, LLC. I also work with Sharp Graphix LLC. Going independent is one of the best choices I've ever made in my life. It's a lot of hard work and a lot of hustle and I love it.
