About Travis Marsh

I'm a Power Engineer working for LNG Canada as a Field Technician in Common Facilities. I enjoy the technical challenges of the work, any opportunity to learn something new, and working in the crew/team environment within Operations. Prior to LNG Canada, I worked at the AltaGas Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET) where I gained oil and gas (LPG) experience in- LPG marine loading operations as a Loading Master, including vessel connections/disconnections and the completion of all permitting/ISGOTT paperwork for cargo loading operations- plant operations as the plant field operator including issuing Safe Work Permits, installing/verifying LOTOs, routine daily/weekly/monthly inspection checklists, and more- operating the DCS panel for the plant- rail-rack operations as to the inspection, sampling, and connection/disconnection of LPG railcars. Prior to working at AltaGas, I worked for the City of Terrace Sportsplex for three years: I started out as a part time recreation attendant, and ended my tenure there as the Chief of the refrigeration plant. It was a great experience at a smaller plant where I got to perform most of the routine plant maintenance (greasing pumps, maintaining condenser water treatment, etc.) and driving the Zamboni.
