Background

About Travis McDonald

For as long as I can remember, I've always had a natural drive to build and create. As a kid, I built model rockets, toothpick gliders, and wooden boats. The tools of my trade were a pair of scissors, a small hand saw, and plenty of glue. Today, my experience and skillsets have grown substantially, but I’m still driven by the same intense desire to learn and solve complex problems. After 10 years of military service and over 6 years in academia studying Aerospace Engineering, my toolbox has grown substantially. I use virtual engineering techniques to design, build, test, and validate aerospace vehicle concepts. Additionally, I love using modeling and simulation to investigate real world incidents and events involving flight vehicles. My experience and continuous studies have given me proficiency in a wide range of engineering methods, tools, and software packages. I love working in diverse groups and with people from a wide range of disciplines. I enjoy interacting with people and I thinks its incredible when a group of professionals come together to tackle a problem. I am eager to hear about potential career opportunities, so I would be pleased to chat about job openings in the engineering realm.
