About Travis Muir

Alright, let's dive into my career journey with a bit more flair! I've been digging up a storm as a Vacuum Excavator Operator at DryVac X in Perth since 2024. Picture this: me, masterfully maneuvering those vacuum trucks, digging without destruction, and pinpointing utilities like a pro. I've got safety down to an art, sticking to OHS and government standards like they're the rules of a cosmic game. But it's not just about the machines; I've got a knack for solving on-site puzzles, whether it's tricky soil or hidden cables. Before this, I was the go-to guy at Instant Products Group for a decade, dealing with everything from portable toilets to VIP event setups, keeping everything clean, safe, and on schedule. I've driven all sorts of vacuum trucks at Western Resource Recovery, managed my schedule like a boss, and even collected payments with a smile. And let's not forget my green days at Lake Karrinyup and Altone Park Golf Courses, where I was the wizard behind the greens, managing teams, budgets, and making sure those courses were pristine. I'm not just about work though; I've got qualifications up my sleeve, from vacuum systems to turf management, and I'm always ready for an emergency with my first aid skills. In my spare time, I'm your friendly neighborhood volunteer, helping out with wildlife care and animal control, all while geeking out over rockets and space science, long podcasts, and interested in a bit of 3D printing. I'm a jack-of-all-trades with a passion for learning and a heart for service.
