Travis is a Senior Management Accountant at WesTrac Cat, specializing in accounting for machine parts exchange and significant maintenance and repair contracts. With a strong focus on financial analysis and cost management, I work closely with operational teams to drive strategic decisions and enhance efficiency. My role allows me to bring a detailed understanding of complex financial operations, optimizing business performance within the heavy equipment industry. Prior to this, I spent over four years at PwC Newcastle, where I gained extensive experience within the assurance profession. I worked with clients across various industries, including mining services, residential construction, law firms, not-for-profits, and pharmaceutical R&D organizations. This role gave me a broad exposure to multiple sectors, enabling me to develop a deep understanding of different financial reporting requirements and business operations. At PwC, I provided assurance services across several areas, including external and internal audits, JSOX compliance, and group reporting engagements. These experiences allowed me to refine my technical skills and adapt to complex financial environments, while delivering high-quality insights to clients. Currently, I am further enhancing my technical expertise by pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy through CAANZ, continuing to build on my knowledge and expand my professional capabilities.
