About Travis Richards

I'm a graphic designer and creative professional. My specialties and skills include layout design, logo & icon design, branding, photography & photo editing, typography and illustration. As a Director of Design for Swamp Records, I was proud to spearhead the branding of a local music festival, developing imagery and marketing materials, in both print & digital forms. This event pushed my skills in mentoring, branding, and production skills. Ultimately, the brand would make several thousand impressions on social media, expanding far beyond the original projected scope of the event. As a Digital Designer for LEO learning, I gained experience working as a line-level designer on teams of dozens of creatives, working on e-learning and training modules for international clients like Marriott, P&G, and Jaguar. My day-to-day work included developing graphics built for web performance, and staying in accordance with art direction, and keeping user flow in mind at all times. I think a big part of life and creative work is staying in touch with your inner child. Growing up, comic books and video games were a huge passion of mine, and still are to this day. The energy and vibrant stories told in these media typically "for kids" is a huge source of inspiration for me to bring more life, drama, and fun to my own work.
