About Travis Sherman

I’ve always wanted to be an explorer, adventurer – that expedition leader hacking a trail through dense jungle, everyone growing in skill and knowledge during our journey. Though most of the earth has been discovered and voyages few and far between I imagine the journey into the human experience to be just as exciting. Working to discover solutions for the various and seemingly endless problems we face in all aspects - individual growth, interpersonal communication, business endeavors – to me, is the final frontier. Currently I am an airline pilot and head of sales at GRIT wellness. I’ve also been a mechanic, waiter, steel worker, speaker, start up owner, salesman, instructor but I’ve always been an entrepreneur. Why? Because discovering solutions to problems no matter what uniform I have on at the moment is what turns my brain on. Truth be told it’s the only reason my brain wakes up! I strive to move beyond just discovering a solution and aim at orchestrating the solution(s) into perfect unison. Outside of work its no wonder my favorite past times are flying and Jiu Jitsu. The freedom of flight is indescribable, but there is something about the symphony of mechanical and human parts all working perfectly in sync to make the best flight and best landing. Jiu Jitsu, well, some have described it as high stakes, complex problem solving. Imagine trying to solve a rubik’s cube while another person tries their best to bend your arm behind your back. After a class like that solving difficult problems in a comfy chair doesn’t seem all that bad!
