About Travis Slonecker

I am a Kentucky Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 23 years of post-masters experience. I have worked with every age group in various settings: inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and private practice. As a Clinical Director over the last four years, I have led two departments, the clinical and activity therapy teams, by balancing selfless compassion and servant leadership with accountability. Together, our close-knit team has provided service excellence with evidence-based therapies, changed lives, and impressed The Joint Commission twice. I am proud of our team, but most of all our determination to deliver work that we are proud of, and patient satisfaction rates that are close to perfect. From designing programs for specific populations, managing day-to-day clinical operations, and exceeding the data outcomes measures, I feel like I have found my niche. Prior to this position, I conducted mostly trauma therapy and helped develop the Intensive outpatient program for the United States Army at Fort Knox which was cloned over several military treatment facilities. I am experienced with using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, DBT, CBT as well as case management and completing specialty psychiatric evaluations such as job competency assessments, fit for duty evaluations, recruiting candidate assessments, drill sergeant evaluations, security evaluations, sniper evaluations, military profile writing, and chapter evaluations. I enjoy what I do and I bring a sense of humor.
