Motivation arises from the consideration of factors positive and negative, impacting customers, employees, and stakeholders. Intent to transform must address impacts on people resulting from the introduction of technology and associated changes to policy, process, and procedures. Initiation and execution of a transformation initiative are contingent on the ability to acquire and focus resources, transfer knowledge and develop skills.Realization of transformation benefit requires that the right balance of accountability and authority be granted and maintained amongst all involved. Empowering individuals to embrace, integrate and leverage capabilities introduced, is a primary constituent of transformation success. With 30 years of experience in the ICT industry, I have participated in and led numerous transformation initiatives coinciding with and driven by advancements in ICT technology. I have both enacted and experienced transformation from multiple perspectives encompassing 24/7/365 ICT operations, customer service/assurance, sales, marketing, enterprise cybersecurity, and risk management initiatives Along my journey, I have witnessed a significant shift in business culture, partly driven by the adoption of ICT, but also by an increasing expectation of an equitable work-life balance and job satisfaction attained through factors other than monetary remuneration. ICT has been my passion for over 30 years. I am focused on developing and leveraging my skills in the leadership context, where I can share the full breadth and depth of my knowledge and experience, while inspiring and cultivating potential, within individuals and organizations.
