About Travis Tait

As a young kid, I’ve always had a great passion for solving problems and finding solutions. If it was being able to help grow our family business and farm, my community, or any position I’ve held has always rewarding for me. Today, I get to utilize all my specialties as part of a management team within SaskPower in charge of building the first Provincial wide Distribution Control Centre. Within this project, we have grown our team and their capabilities by introducing new technologies that will enhance our abilities to monitor and manage the electrical distribution grid of Saskatchewan and its future. Also, acting as the Issuing Authority for SaskPower’s electrical safety protection code for all distribution field operations. One of my favourite authors, Jon Krakauer once said, “The core of mans' spirit comes from new experiences.” This quote reflects on the person I am while bring my core values of integrity, hard work, openness and trust to each experience. I'm always striving to be the best version of myself and helping others to do the same.
