About Travis Thompson

As a Logistics Coordinator at Canada Running Series, I apply my Special Events Diploma from George Brown College to plan and execute large-scale running events across Canada. I have developed strong organization and time management skills, as well as customer relationship management (CRM) abilities, through this role. I have also earned multiple certifications in Access, a database software that helps me manage and analyze data efficiently. In my current role, I have contributed to the successful delivery of various running events, such as the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, the Sporting Life 10K, and the Oasis Zoo Run. I have worked with a diverse and collaborative team to handle the logistical aspects of these events, such as loading and offloading trucks, sending out polymailers, and setting up and tearing down equipment. I have also built relationships with many vendors, sponsors, and participants, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement. I am passionate about creating memorable and impactful experiences for the running community, and I am eager to learn from and share my insights with other professionals in the events industry.
