The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don't really even notice it, so it's part of everyday life.” Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft. I started with this quote because this is my whole life. I have seen technology grow from not readily available in most homes to everyday items, carried with us every day. I grew up in an underdeveloped area of the city of Chicago during the early 90s. I hardly knew or saw a computer till I was well in my middle school years. It fascinated me and pulled me in, soon I was immersed. Ever since that day, I constantly researched up new developments in technology. I read many books, news articles, and magazines in the tech field. I even got more hands-on experiences with building computers in local community centers throughout the city as a teen. Even now as an adult helping younger and older generations with new technology. Leading me down the road to starting to continue my education With Merit America and their program. I am currently enrolled in the Google IT support program and love it. I want to take my new skills and apply them to jobs in the many fields of information technology.
