Dear Hiring Team, I have had a very steady career in different markets of the manufacturing and engineering industries over a 20-year period. I started on the shop floor of a family-owned industrial manufacturing company and over the years worked my way through a successful sales career, marketing leadership, team building, inside sales, operations, general manager, and president for family owned, privately held, start up, and private equity owned companies. Throughout, I never lost sight on my love to learn industries, analyze trends, consult for trade associations, and believe in building the best teams possible to accomplish our goals. In 2020, I exited as President of a mid-sized private equity ran business leading up to the next sell and decided to take on a personal test of going into a passion and eventually opening a business with my wife. We never reached the level of being able to sell the concept to other owners, but did reach a lot of people through education, social activities, and living a passion as long as we could. The process taught me a lot about myself and things that will make me even a better leader now than I was before the venture. I learned patience, I honed my love for mentoring, delved deeper into social marketing, and understood where my drive to help others succeed was rooted. My resume only shows some snapshot highlights that seem to trigger words robotic algorithms feel will give you an ideal candidate. My experience goes well beyond what is on the resume, and at a prime age to put in many more years to help a company reach their full potential. From a personal level. I have four children who are following their dreams and finding success. I have traveled abroad for work, navigated certifications in the world of wine, written a novel, lead a company, built some of the best scrappy ragtag marketing and sales teams possible, worked with children in need, lined up with some of the best ruggers a man will ever know and have found peace in being the reliable sound board and leading supporting figure in an organization’s strategy.
