I was an MHE Tech at a 1 million+ square foot Amazon Fulfillment Center for almost 4 years. We had 4 Dematic shoe pin sorters which I performed maintenance on every week. I led a team of 4 techs, assigned preventative maintenance tasks, set up repairs for downtime windows, updated excel spreadsheets on repairs, monitored booked labor for our shift, and ensured trouble tickets were addressed in a timely manner. I regularly PM all kinds of machinery, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and repair/replace worn components. I have excellent belt tracking skills and have extensive experience with Allen Bradley frequency drives. Just a list of areas I have experience in: all types of conveyor belts (lacing, tracking, troubleshooting), power rollers, drive rollers, tension rollers, electric motors/gearboxes/gearmotors, SLAM Printers, Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors/Elevators, dual motor controllers, Dematic sorters, Hytrol sorters, SmartPac machines, cardboard balers, pneumatic systems, interpreting ladder logic. I am currently a Maintenance Technician at FedEx Ground in Sparrows Point MD. We have four Vanderlande shoe pin sorters. While working at this job, I have developed skills including but not limited to welding and fabricating, understanding ladder logic via Studio running commercial electric, predictive maintenance using ultrasound technology, and interpretation of sortation statistics in order to effectively troubleshoot issues with the sort
