About Treasure C.

I graduated from Rowan University in 2021. When I first arrived in 2017, I was eager to become involved. I held the PR position at the Black Cultural League. In this position, I was able to be connected with different departments at the University, organizations, and companies within Glassboro through events I cultivated, organized and managed. Along with establishing and managing its social media presence and expanding my marketing and graphic designing skills, I had the opportunity to pursue personal projects. It was through my experience at Rowan, that I was able to secure the Program Coordinator position at Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ, in 2019. In this position, I was responsible for creating a connection between the Girl Scout program and the communities that it operates in. I organized events and programs with over 100 girls in the city of Camden. I fell in love with Girl Scout's mission and values, and upon graduation, I moved to San Diego where I secured the position of Membership Recruitment Specialist with Girl Scout San Diego. I have spent the last year developing connections within the city of San Diego and creating more opportunities for girls of all backgrounds to participate in the program. I thoroughly enjoy creating teams of volunteers and watching them impact their community. I am currently looking for more opportunities similar to this.
